Good you have posted ....lets hear from other people those who are waiting for NVC case #...

Me, Its been 3 weeks since NOA2 and my case is still not in the system.

Glenmarc

Glemarc and other on this thread.. thanks for posting sharing.. ok we are in same boat.. time wise.. I have also received my NOA2 in e -mail on 3/5/09 and Hard copy in mail 3/12/09.. so what I think...procedure must have changed at NVC......they are working on our file..once their paper work done..they will send our file to our Finacee country same time they will notify us by mail.. in past K1 file to get from USCIS to NVC tookunder week why longer now..?

let you all know ...just now called NVC....told me other end...what is my NOA2 notice date...? told me give us little more time.. told me same thing it can take anywere from 2-4 weeks..in most case..to receive in their system..so have to wait....i am going in to 4th week soon....

As usual, there seems to be no consistency in the procedure. we got approved on Monday and I called NVC (around 8am EST) today. Case received and I even got a LND number.

Sorry to hear that there are still so many people waiting for so long. Hope you all hear some good news soon.

Its very hard to say! I was wondering if its because my case is NOT YET updated on the USCIS Website? Could that possibly be a reason so? I just received my hard copy NOA 2 but never updated online (approved status). I'm thinking there has to be a trend.

Sucks to be waiting for the approval to be sent to NVC. The process you would assume that would happen immediately!

I'm starting to think IF NVC not receiving our case has something to do with our case not being updated on the USCIS WEBSITE...our case is still showing PENDING.... last touched 2/24/2009. Although we have received our NOA 2 notice date: 3/20/2009.

Just wondering, for those of you, NVC haven't received your case, has your online status been updated?

I recieved hard copy of NOA2 Approval Notice dated March 19th. I am still not updated in system and my status shows at last touch on Feb 19th and still pending. The NVC hasn't recieved our case yet. NVC said average time is 2-4 weeks for them to recieve cases from USCIS after NOA2 is issued but that it could take up to 90 days :bonk: ! I called USCIS and was told it could take 60 days for them to update their database but that as long as I have the hardcopy NOA2 not to worry. The NVC was supposed to be the quick part so I'm incredibly frustrated. Looks like a new trend is starting here.

I am hoping that the NVC has recieved our cases but just hasn't updated their system yet (like USCIS). There is no telling but I hope we all get our cases in and out of the NVC as soon as possible. Good Luck to all!

Oh yay theres a home for this maddness!

We got our USCIS approval March 13th, hard copy on the 20th and still we call every day only to hear 'oh we're not showing anything. it can take 4-6 weeks" blah blah... We press #1 then #2.... Raj you said #5? interesting.

I thought this would be the fast part too! I expected by now we'd have packet 3 from Montreal (which take 90-120 days to get an interview from).

Yippee! I called NVC this afternoon and the woman I spoke with told me that they had just recieved our file from CSC

Now beginning next week I can start calling everyday to see if our file has been forwarded to the consulate yet...

It had taken 13 days to reach the NVC so I was really starting to get nervous. Good Luck to everyone! I hope all of our files are are recieved this week!
