how to request that a thread be moved?

i came across this post in the embassy/consulate general discussion, and think it might be better received in the UK subform of K-1's. (if im not right, thats okay!)

you can PM a person that has "Organizer" in their title... make sure and include the link to the thread you want moved

I looked over the thread and I think it is fine where it is... there really isn't a seperate UK forum for K1's

covers moving etiquette. I would say the thread you highlighted falls under the term "grey area thread" and should stay where it is. If you do see a thread that potentially needs moving PM a mod or organizer.

ooh thanks! i looked for a reference thread about moving, but no luck.

there is a very active discussion about the london embassy in the UK subforum, which is what i meant to say instead of K-1 visa subforum. the responses are often very quick and pretty specific.

but i guess that people ask for help in different ways. and somehow, we all get an awful lot of help here on vj!

yeah you could do that
