When it comes to USCIS and related issues, no answer is ever the same, no timeline is ever accurate and all we can do is sit tight and either wait for their official notices or official e-mail with case status.

The email CA sent me this morning says "The process should begin next week and you should receive the request for evidence within 30 days"

I'm not liking any of these answers : (

Not to hate, but I'm getting tired of the VSC people being leap years ahead of CSC. It's kind of a joke, really.

Half of those guys have already received and sent back the IMBRA RFE. At this rate, it looks like it will take 9 months from start to finish.

I do have my local congressional and senate offices following the case, however. So, let's see what happens...

Things may be moving at CSC. I got the generic email the other day about "We need another 45 days, stop bothering us", but today our case was touched for the first time. So maybe they'll start chucking out our RFE's, too.

Everyone please join me in the "our case just got touched dance":dance::dance:

Here's to hoping we ALL get our RFE's really fast, Cheers!

Well I hope they send them soon because I am moving in 3 weeks. :(

Posted this in another thread yesterday.

Thought might be better here.

Got the following from my lawyer On 6-22-2006.

Not sure if it helps at all.

Just makes me feel that the USCIS is not keeping there information up to date enough for us.

"CSC is up to March 6, 2006. We have received several adjudications from cases receipted March 5, 2006 and earlier. NSC no longer does I-129F filings so their update is worthless information. We have not yet received a RFE. Follow up with me early next week for an update. Try and have a good weekend..."

my question was

"I have noticed that Califorina has updated there I-129f to Feb 15th and

Nebraska has moved theres to May 29th. It is bull on the USCIS's part if they are going to

process people that applied after me because they screwed up. Can you shed

any light on this?

Also I have understood that RFE's will be sent out some time this week for

those that did not conform with IMBRA."

:huh::huh:

This situation is  and makes you want to :crying: .

But CA's processing times say February 15 and I know we can't really trust them - but where does your lawyer get March 6? I mean it makes sense, just have no idea who to believe.

The minute someone gets the RFE being sent email PLEASE post it - I'm losing hope.

I understand your frustration .. I know I spoke with a lawyer prior to doing my I-129f (actually filed everything myself though without a lawyer) And said I should be able to get a response quick because they do it by petitioners location and country .. And Since there are not many petitions in Colorado to start (comparetively) and my fiance is from Taiwan that it should be put speedy.. But unfortunatly now.. you know Californias Service center would get way more petitions then the Nebraska one we are put in the boat with everyone else. No offense to the people in California and the west coast, it is just more populated there so just like traffic you have to wait in line.. Ohh well .. I want everyone to get their paperwork processed just as quickly as the others then we could have a giant party and celebrate our happiness.. haha.

I talked to him a few minutes ago about that. He said that they have received paperwork from CSC pertaining to people who had paperwork in just prior to March 6. So he feels that have completed some of the people that are in the Feb 15th to March 6th time frame. He thinks that the CSC just has not updated the site yet because not all of them are complete. And that they will jump to the March 6th date next to VSC soon.

(but well we are talking about someones opinion) I know what you mean by loseing hope. I think a lot of people are. I know we can not to that, not matter how much the USCIS messes with us. Because if we lose hope and let them take that hope from us. Then they have that much more on us than they had before.

I know it is easy to say chin up and we will all make it thru this. But the the truth is we are all on the edge of our chairs wanting to know day by day progress. Best i can say is keep the hope. that is what we all are here for. to support each other.
