Sorry if this is somewhere in another thread.

I know there has been some talk that according to senators RFEs are going out tomorrow for CA.

I sent yet another email to CA asking them to simply clarify when the RFEs are going out and what will happen to the transferred petitions in terms of timing. I know the people working there are regular people and human, but I'm not too pleased with this response:

Sorry, I cannot be more specific. The process should begin next week and you should receive the request for evidence within 30 days. I cannot be more specific as I'm looking at system notes and not actually working in that area. I don't know where your petition is in the process on top in the middle.

Please check back in 45 days if you have not received anything.

This is very frustrating since he didn't answer anything really.

Does anyone have any concrete information that we can really believe?

I just got an E-mail back from CSC pretty much said the same thing you got:

The processing of these petitions has been on hold awaiting guidlines. We will begin sending out requests for evidence within the next week using a automated system to speed the process. You should receive your request within the next 30 days.

Thanks,

emails to USCIS seem to be generating the same "45 days" response. Senators' offices are being told the RFEs should start being sent out by the end of this week.

I am going to go with the senator office, not just because I prefer the answer, but because I think they have been able to get in touch with people who are actually dealing with the claims, and not just the general information person at the main USCIS desk.

CSC is trying to be safe with their answers and not raise too much expectation... too bad they are already known to be one of the SLOWEST service centers and funny (sarcastic) :P how most paperwork from tsc and nsc are being processed by them right now. i dont get it.... it doenst make sense to do that... oh well.

but let's all be positive about it. maybe and i hope we get at LEAST an EMAIL from CSC telling us that our RFE's have been sent out and then NEXT week around wed or thurs, we receive the actual paperwork.

goodluck to us all... we can get thru this :)

I agree. We couldnt expect the email responses to be anything than vague and disclaiming. They probably have staff answering all the email inquiries who are not even involved in actual petition processing...ie...they know nothing about the actual timelines/specifics.

I too would like to believe that Senator responses should be more accurate and they can speak to those who would be held responsible, but again, not holding my breath until something tangible actually happens.

I know for a fact my senator's aide spoke with actual people at CSC and also at VSC. She said they told her Friday.....
