Hi everyone,

I feel little silly asking this but for the life of me, I cannot find it on my own.

Is there somewhere one might see the processing times / dates of the I-130. If I click on the individual service/benefits center and go to the chart which lists the particular visa application options, I dont see the I-130 listed. I do however, see the I-129F for the K3 and the I-129F for K1, just not the I-130 (e.g. 'now processing cases with a receipt notice date of ....').

The reason I ask this is this ............I filed the I-130 on May 30 and I do have a delivery receipt of June 1. However, ( and I know any concern is premature at this point) my husband is traveling from Canada on June 30 for a 2 week visit in Michigan and I feel he should be able to give the border agent some kind of info regarding the status of our petition and not just " um I dunno ,we filed it". I will send him a photocopy of the delivery confirmation receipt and he is in the military so he will have a leave pass and other supporting docs as to prove his intent to return to Canada. We have been traveling back and forth without issue for nearly 3 years now and I dont forsee any unusual problems, although we were not married until recently................ ya neva know!

Prior to preparing the packet I researched timelines and sort of created an expected timeline as to when each step might be completed....as I prepared the I -130 packet to send out, my insecurities and worrysome nature told me I was SURE to have forgotten something or made a mistake. I checked and rechecked, sorted and resorted and as I stood at the counter in my local post office I was trembling. I consoled myself with the knowledge that if I had in fact made a mistake, the USCIS would simply ask for clarification......no harm no foul. I have to tell ya, by day 10 I was beside myself , CERTAIN I had of course made a mistake.....sent it to the wrong place.........forgotten payment or even worse ...fallen prey to a covert govt conspiracy to destroy what's left of my last nerve. As I have followed along the past weeks, I realize that I am not alone in my worry as we all are riding the same train. It doesn't appear as if anyone filing the I-130 in the past month has received an NOA1...........so again , short of calling can we find answers?

Good Luck to all..........

As you sent your I-130 to Nebraska it will of been transfered to California, so you need to be looking here for it https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/Proc...nter=California

If you sent a check, once the check is cashed you can find your USCIS# on the back, it will begine with WAC

then once you have this number you can register here................ https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/selectusertype.jsp

Thank you so much Euro!!!

Now , if you will...........can you tell me where I missed the step where petitions filed in Nebraska get transfered to Cali?

Again , many thanks!

 I dont know how you missed that :P .but for over a year now there are only 2 service centers that process the I-130, that's California & Vermont, but people still have to mail them to the service center for thier state, so Nebraska & Texas are transfered to California

Yes these things are taking a while at the moment it appears. There is a woman on these forums that sent her 1-130 on the 27th of April and received her NOA 1 on the 20th of June. A wait of 6-8 weeks for NOA 1 is not out of the question at this point. Hopefully yours will come sooner rather than later.

Well it would just be nice to know what's happening. I realize our govt moves at it's own pace and trying to speculate what lights the fire under them would be like solving the world hunger issue. I spose the just knowing if it is actually somewhere that will allow it to receive some attention would be nice.

I do have a little bit of a theory ..........and really I dont claim to have the closest thing to a firm grasp of this whole process but, maybe they stalled the processing of the I-130's temporarily, knowing the new I-129F was about to be released. That way they could obtain the info they claim wont require an RFE on previously filed petitions and still maintain the whole premise that K-3's are not being affected by IMBRA. If that makes sense ...............

Im hoping now that the new form is out and in effect , things will get on track. Until then I will continue my morning ritual of checking my bank account and then the mailbox........what's a girl to do.

Im a little unsettled about my husband's upcoming visit and how he should handle it, not having actual proof that the petiton has been filed. I think if he wears his military uniform it will help, as in the past they almost just wave him through at the border. We cross at Port Huron, Michigan/Sarnia,Ontario and 99% of the time the agents have been incredible. We have crossed so often that we're getting to know some of them..........hehe!

Anyway , best of luck to all!!
