hello everyone.. me and my husband sent off his AOS and work authorization papers last week but i am just reading they were sappost to go to the Chicago lock box address however he sent them to the Texas service center, what should we do? will they send it to the right address? HELP

They will probably send them back - probably...

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

With any luck they will either forward them on to Chicago or send them back (with the check, one would hope). Unfortunately this is one of those things where if you do not follow the instructions you can cause yourself all kinds of headaches. Hopefully you have a copy of everything and can re-file if needed. Worst case they will cash your check and lose track of your file and you will be out the money and have to start over it. No doubt you could straighten it out, but what a nightmare. I hope it solves itself. That little error probably added 4-6 weeks to getting the green card.
