You know... you might actually have a good point in there somewhere, but the way you're attempting to transmit that point is the problem. You're being far too aggressive and antagonistic. That doesn't mean you can't criticize the U.S. and the Constitution. But there are ways to say things without pissing off your audience. Once that happens, no one will bother listening. B)

I was trying to find it somewhere online so I could link to it but I've failed miserably. Basically it was saying the problem is so bad and parents are doing nothing to help that they're going to start taking away non-essential household items like TVs and stereos so the parents will pay more attention to it. Apparently the $2,000 fines weren't enough.

Australia is the perfect example of giving the f---s too much. You give them $100 dollars yet they will want $200 and so on. Kids here don't even get health care yet there they get free health care, deferred government loans for school (only pay them once you start working) and even welfare to go to school ($600 or so a month) which you do not pay back.

What else can you give these guys to behave? A swift f--n kick up the azz.

What also makes the problem worse is that there is a $5,000 baby bonus. Guess which class is having all of the kids. Plus they get extra welfare per bloody kid. Now that Labor is in power there nothing will change. At least with the Libs they had a work for the dole program where those on long term had to do landscaping etc in the parks and community if they were unemployed for a long time.

Better be hitting the gym everyday, pencil neck. You're gonna need some weight behind you when you find the enough courage to meet me in the boxing ring.

Grow some balls and PM me your details for the free ticket here and then we'll talk. Or did you leave them with your first wife?

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

There's no such thing as "free" health care. You pay for it through taxation. Maybe that means you don't have to pay upfront when seeing a doctor, but that's only because you've paid ahead of time with your taxes. If Australia is anything like Canada, then you'll still need health insurance (beyond what the government provides) if you require medication.

Figures...all talk and no show. I have my photos and name plastered all over the internet. If you really wanted to find me, you wouldn't have to look very hard.

You, pencil neck, on the other hand don't even have your real name posted here, let alone your photo. I work in Culver City...it's not that big. I'll be here whenever you're ready for a friendly boxing match at a local gym.

 It's always my problem. Good reason why so many hate me here.

But honestly I am not dissing it. This country has a lot of great people with a lot of potential. I just think it needs to modernize the constitution. Bring it into 2009 and remove the ambiguity. Like, hey I like guns too but come on, we all know what the 2nd Amendment really means. Same goes with the 1st which is about protect freedom of political speech, that is, to voice your opinion with regards to the country. Rather than the status quo definition of giving me the freedom to do whatever I want. Plus the country has to get over its pride and acknowledge that much like cars, there are other people in this world doing things much better. People who are more than willing to offer their knowledge if asked for.

For example, people bag France and Europe but have a look at google maps (streetview) and you tell me if Europe is a crappy place. or check out Australia and tell me what you think. Especially my republican brothers who disagree with spending on infrastructure. i have seen roads in the middle of the desert with the next town over 200 miles away that look better than Constitution avenue near the whitehouse in DC.

Steven. Steven Steven. Who do you take me for. If I wanted to find you I would have had your blood type yesterday.

You're just a silly "no-nuke" type lib. With typical warped liberal yank views. It would be like taking down a child with needs.

But your right I have seen your photos. Man how did you out of all people score such a hottie wife.

Also one of many reasons why the UK was able to prevent the hijacking attempt of aircraft out of London. Whereas here you have people bitching and moaning about computers scanning their calls. OMFG it's like against my like f--n like rights man..

Actually that's no accurate. There has been strong criticism of the UK government trying to bring in mandatory id cards. The policy has been tied up in parliament for years.

If you do indeed have UK friends you should know this. People there are concerned with issues of privacy and surveillance.

ID cards are a different story. Trying getting a job without ID there. No yoour against brown people clowns there. Took my friend over a month to get a UK bank account. His father was born in the UK and he is obviously an Australian citizen. A country still part of the monarchy. In NY he had a State ID, BA and SSN within a week. We it comes to corporations and their privacy that is a different story. Very few people in Aus for example have a problem with the government accessing their info for obvious reasons. That is, they are the government. To the contrary, we are totally against corporations being able to store and sell our information. Whereas here it is Back-Azzwards. You do realize with a few pieces of information here it is quite easily to acquire someone's life story. Where they have spent their money, what on, when the visit the doctor etc. Totally legal might I add.

Sic off topic but you sound like the type who would be in London protesting the G20.

They dont ask for it. At least they didn't when I was working there.

You know what I mean though.

Kids there are spoiled. College kids get what is called a health care card and are able to purchase essential medication for like $4. And I'm talking about name brand stuff in blister packs.

There are too many criminals in prison to have prison reform.

Then how about better and tougher laws to DETER people from committing crime?

The death penalty didn't/doesn't prevent violent crime.

Sure it does! Execute a murderer and he or she will never murder again. :P

Hey!!! That's what I said in my next post!

pro death penalty, pro choice as long as it's not used as birth control (i.e. rape victim, incest, and so on).

That shows you don't contadict your beliefs.

I'm looking for the people who are pro choice, but don't believe in the deat penalty, and there are plenty of them out there!
