Arghhhh... I got an RFE today in my inbox when I woke u this morning. A little bit of a suprise really as we thought we had covered all of the requirements and filled in all the forms correctly.

Still at least they are looking at our case and we might be approved soon, just don't really know what they might need.

Does anybody have any advice on the RFE process and any experiences would be grately recieved.

Many thanks,

Tom

Sorry to hear that........bummer!! All you can do is wait to you get the RFE in the mail and see what they want. It is often something very simple that one has forgotten. A signature, question left unanswered, without N/A or none, a missing document, needing more evidence of having met in the two years etc etc. It could be one of many things. I do hope it is something easily resolved. Wishing you all the best.

What kind of RFE was it. After my RFE I think it was only like 3 weeks and the I-130 was approved!!

Don't let an RFE let you down, at least they got your petition in their hands and are working on it. Thats always a plus!!

Give them what they want. Send it back with the cover sheet provided, and you should be approved in 10 days or so.

They didnt like my birth certificate, or they lost it. So I sent them all the pages of my passport.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.

RFE.... Not a big deal!!!

Just respond with EXACTLY what they want, and you should get NOA II soon after.

Another thing, RFE is good, because they are actually processing your case! That means after they get what they need for the RFE, you should be approved.

Don't sweat it. Just complete the process, and you'll be done!

Good luck!

Agree with all - even if the RFE is for something you 'know' you already sent, just send it again - its the fastest way - good luck on a swift resolution

plus the entire copy from page 1 to last of his divorce proceedings.

So they specifically requested the entire proceedings? Just curious as there was a thread last week and this issue came up.
