So they got our I-130 and i'd thought we were to be processed in Vermont but it says the below... does this mean anything?

Oh and not that it's in this center, we're now waiting for it to be approved right? I put the case number they gave me into their system inorder to keep track of this process.

It says that California takes 6 months to process our I-130, is that about right?

i am VERY happy to at least be in the system right now.

Good luck to everyone.

The 6 month time line for CSC is THEIR set goal of processing a I-130 petition. Lucky your at CSC , cause VSC is slow has been for a long while now. Ive seen CSC approvals in 10 days, 19 days, 30 and 55 days lately. Yeah be glad your in the system, many filers who filed before you still cant see their case on line. Good Luck!!

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

Well sometimes they send you to California instead to balance workload. Anyway, consider yourself lucky as California is historically MUCH quicker than Vermont. You need to make sure to change your service center on your profile as well. Good luck!

Yep, I changed it already on the timeline -- i was just surprised at that and yeah, I'm thrilled that I can see information and track it.

It's been a long time coming, that's for sure.

Thanks for responding and your help. Now I guess we'll just sit back and let them tell us what to do next, right?

:)

Good luck to you all. .
