I have no clue how we missed this before. Visa photo specs says person snould wear eyeglasses in the pics if normally worn. We've already sent 2 pics. Now I read this which I somehow missed before.

Is it still possible for me to provide newer pictures of myself with eyeglasses during the USEM interview? Or do I have to use the two pics submitted with the CR1?

If you are wearing eyeglasses for medical reason (prescription eyeglasses) then you are OK.

I think the OP was saying that she took their passport pics WITHOUT the eyeglasses that they normally use...i personally dont think that would or will be an issue...ALOT of people wear contacts some days, eyeglasses the next...your face is still the same....i look at my passpot pic and think it looks nothing like me...maybe it's fake...LOL

Thank you. Big sigh of relief. hehehe Yeah, I'm thankful for people like I Miss Her, OBX and others who lead the way and guide us all. :)

We are all here to help each other. (F)

I wear eyeglasses but had my photos done without. The photographer had difficulty taking one without glare with the glasses on. More importantly I seem to collect eyeglasses like shoes :rofl: Who knows what pair I will decide to wear to the interview! I think it's best to take the photos without, which is what I did.

His_Wifey. They can be picky about the size, 2x 2 is the best bet. Good luck!

USCIS is generally not picky about the size of passport pictures, so for petition filing, I wouldn't bother getting new ones. The Consulates almost always require the right size though, so get the right ones taken before the interview.

Well, we're all trying to help one another here. This is why it's good some people come up with LingChe's NVC Shortcut and the VJ Wiki. I am sure some of us here now will find the time to collect more accurate info and add to the VJ Knowledge Base. :)

I agree it's tough taking pics with glasses and not have the glare.
