First let me say that I'm happy to see that USCIS is working hard to clear the large backlog of 129F case as well as speeding up the approval process.

But with that being said, #######!?! :ranting: I understand that every petition is different and some take a little longer to process than others for various reasons but how can it be rationalized that petitions that were submitted 90 days after ours have already been approved. :bonk: Does anyone else find their processing a bit ridiculous. It's hard enough to be far from one's fiance(e) and this stress doesnt help the situation.

I would say most likely you're being penalized (alright, at least unintentionally) for not having met your fiancee online and/or through a dating agency and/or within a couple months of proposing. Sadly, it seems our numbers are few.

Well I didnt meet my fiance "online and/or through a dating agency and/or within a couple months of proposing" Ive known her for years and have been to her country many times and we were approved in 30 days. Unfortunately I think the CSC is just not doing things in order right now. Ive had talks with my fiance about this and we both feel guilty in a way for being approved so quick. It really has taken some of the enjoyment out of our approval hearing so may upset about this and It dose seem very unfair. The only conclusion we could come up with is maybe the CSC is clearing out the I-129's that have the least red flags to make room for the VSC to send over some of their backlog. We can only hope! I hope that you all will see your NOA2's soon.

Sweetheart, it's a pure lottery. I mean, look at my timeline...what wrong did I do? Not to mention that my fiance was in the military. He was good enough to risk his life for USA's sake, but when it comes to his sake, USA gives him the middle finger back !!

I found out something, like unofficial news, but confirmed: CSC is working 24/7, in smaller shifts, to catch up with the amount of files they have to solve. So don't be confused if you see a touch or NOA2 on Sundays. :star:

Yes I read that in the paper today and I hope that's the case because I'm still waiting...

And it is really sad what a lot of the soldiers have to go through despite their tough work-I just read a story the other day about a soldier having to pay his own medical bills! My prayers are with you and your family (F)

Should I call the CSC about my petition? This site is making me frustrated because every timeline that I look at from CSC has already been approved and I sent mine before they did! I'm on day 73

No. First USCIS will tell you that you are still within processing times and that you will just have to wait. There is no rational for the way that USCIS processes petitions and 73 days is still very early in the process. I wouldn't start to panic till the end of the 4th month. Just hang in there, it will come. Also check your mailbox not the online system. Our NOA2 was approved 3 weeks ago and the online system still shows no updates.

Hang in there, this is the hardest part.

Haha...This is a great statement!

I must be waiting for 6+ months now for my NOA2 because I have actually lived (in person) with my fiance for 3 years. We actually met in person, not online. I proposed 3 years after meeting too.

Maybe we should have just found each other online last week and got engaged...maybe we would be approved now....or maybe people from New Zealand are so dangerous they require extra security checks. Give me a f*cking break, this system is sh!t.
