umm, I have never seen the problem with digging up old threads....

people always get hassled for starting a new thread when a topic of a similar nature has already been posted... and then they get hassled for digging up old threads

I would like to suggest that threads in OT be locked automatically after a certain time of inactivity. This would prevent old threads from being resurrected, which many of us seem to think is very annoying.

And you seriously think you being annoyed is enough to institute a rule change like that? Damn, you sure do think highly of yourself.

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

I don't recall demanding that a rule change be instituted. I only made a suggestion. I always thought there was a difference between the two.
