NVC AOS and DS-230 Package

I would be grateful if some sage can enlighten us concerning the preparation and dating of these documents. We are currently still awaiting NOA2 for our I 130 which all being well shouldn't be too far away. We have been assembling all the documentation required in advance and have signed the DS-230 Part 1 and the I 864 in anticipation of approval in order to expedite the process as best we can.

Is there a problem with having these documents dated prior to approval?

I personally cannot see that it matters as if the information was to change then of course we would redo the document, but then again like lots of things there may be a reason why this must not be done.

Date on the docs do not matter, it just the date you prepared the forms.

Only dates that do matter are on Police certs, they cannot be more that a year old.

There just seems to be so many little areas that can cause problems and I guess I do not take anything for granted. At least they are ready to go and my goodness what a lot of preparation it is.

Don't send anything until you receive the barcodes from NVC. One for I-864 and one for IV documents.

Otherwise, the case will be delayed.
