Yes I have not to long ago... It was a very pleasent experience I have to say. I was worried for nothing :)

Are you studying...I did every day. I am not sure but did they change the test ? PM me if you have questions/

August 2006: Approved for Dual Citizenship from the German Consulate

I am officially now a Dual Citizen :)))

07.06.09 sent I-129F to Vermont Service Center for Mr Brazil

07.09.09 NOA1

12.11.09 NOA2

02.23.10 Visa Interview - Rio de Janeiro-Visa denied

03.11.10 case cent back to VSC

Second Round:

04.19.10 Sent new petition to Vermont Service Center

04.21.10 NOA1

04.23.10 check cashed

07.16.10 touched

10.XX.10: Decide to split with my fiance and set in a withdraw letter to VSC

10.25.10: NOA2 - to my surprise but it does not matter anymore

11.18.10: Withdraw of my petition is final - The End of my Immigration Journey :)

You live in Boston right ?

Why did you send your paperwork to Texas ? It suppose to go to Vermont.. that is our Service Center.

I am wondering if they are re-routing your stuff to Vermont.. and maybe thats why you have not received the letter for Biometics. Give it a couple more weeks I would say.

It also depends on the state you live in ...and what Service Center your papers are going too. Some or faster/slower then others. IMO.

But I thought the Vermont Service Center was pretty fast.

Sorry for the confusion here.. but I clearly thought this is going to Vermont.

How come all my letters from the INS had a Vermont Postage on there ? Just curious.

I sent my paperwork on 2/26, they received in on 3/02 and i received the NOA on 3/12 but i still do not have a biometrics appointment. I see other have it already. Should i be worried?

i sent my paperwork to Texas.

I don't know if I would worry, but I would call and check with USCIS! No reason to wait any longer than you have to, and biometrics is quick and easy!

03/13/2009 received biometrics appt notice for 03/27/2009

03/27/2009 biometrics appt @3pm (in & out in less than 20 minutes)

04/16/2009 Received pink notice of medical exam needed

04/17/2009 Had medical exam done by Civil Surgeon (have to return on Tuesday 04/21/2009 forResults)

04/24/2009 Papers delivered to Lees Summit (MSC) :o)

05/07/2009 Received email from CRIS that EAD card has been ordered & should arrive within 30 days

05/08/2009 Received email from CRIS that EAD Approval Notice was sent

05/09/2009 Received EAD card in mail YAAAAAY

05/12/2009 Applied for Social Security Card

05/15/2009 NOA received with I-485 interview date 07/20/2009

07/20/2009 AOS Interview in Orlando FL

07/21/2009 Email received " Card Production Ordered " YAAAAY 139 days!

07/24/2009 Welcome letter received! & Approval of I-130 also received! Yaaay

08/04/2009 Green Card received! Hoooraaaaay!!

The application (N-400) is mailed to VSC, however the interview will happen in local Field office, for processing times of the application you need to lookup N-400 by field office.
