We received the Advanced Parole document I-512L, two(2) copies, is this normal?

The bx for "National Benifits Center, Parole Stamp", is blank, do they stamp this box upon reentry?

Is each form letter just good for one entry?

When you travel, upon reentry to the US, you will present both copies to CBP, they will retain one and stamp the other which you will retain for future use. So yes, this is normal.

Yes to your first two questions. Basically yes to the last one, though you would present both upon re-entry as Karin & Otto stated. Remember this is a paper to allow you IN to the United States. It DOES NOT allow you IN to other countries. I am sure your fiancee/wife could go back to her home country and return to the USA but whether any other countries will allow her in is up to them.

We live 6 miles from the Canadian border. My wife got her green card approved (but not in hand) and two days later the AP arrived. She was anxious to go to Montreal so we jumped in the car and promptly got turned around at the border. For us it was a waste of 10 minutes. Glad we didn't buy plane tickets or something.

Oddly enough we have since found out she could have entered and returned from Canada a month earlier using her newly issued Vermont drivers license which is now an "enhanced" form of ID and valid for travel to and from Canada. She had to show her AOS filing paper to get the drivers license and citizens have to show proof of citizenship. My licensE is the older model, not suitable for this. According to the sign at the border, the states of New York, Michigan and Washington also currently comply with this rule (if they are new licenses since the states complied with the new federal regulations)
