K1 approval notice in hand but .................?????

notice date on k1 approval letter is march 18. Got it in the mail march 23. I thought since notice date was march 18, there will be an update on my web account. I checked and no updates. nothing says they've mailed NOA2. Although I do have the NOA2. I called and the automated system reads the same thing on the web. No mention of any approval letter.

Anybody know why this is so?

It is not (lately) uncommon for this to happen - it's not an issue and eventually the automated system will update. The good news is (besides your petition was approved) that you're done with USCIS (and the automated system) for a while now.

Yep, this happened to me, too. But many people have reported the same thing, so I figure it's all good. At least we got the paper. LOL! Congrats!

Yup, called USCIS and was told it take up to 30 days for them to update their system.

I have my visa and last time I checked on USCIS out of curiosity it still states petition received and pending

The most important thing is that you have your NOA2 not what it says on the website
