For anyone visiting London the upcoming week; be warned that with the G20 here in London there are going to be a lot of protests and protesters. Just wanted to give people a heads up in case anyone is heading there for their medical or just to visit.

I was at the Embassy on Monday and asked about this, the man at the counter advised that they would be closed Monday to Wednesday, when I asked at the security at the door they said they knew of no closures so as there are interviews on Monday at the Embassy that have not been rescheduled I think that they are going to be open.

A lot of misinformation at the embassy what a suprise

Well thank God we postponed my fiance's interview...this is unneeded stress!

But thanks to everyone that gave a heads up, now whoever needs to be in London around those areas can plan around this and won't be surprised or bummed out.

Visa Journey completed, but we are still here to provide support! :)

Heard on the (German) news yesterday that there are (supposedly) plans for four different marches designed to blockade 4 major routes in London.

I only know of one march today, the 'Put People First' march that I was supposed to be stewarding at. They had a pre-planned route to Hyde Park with which the police help with closing roads for. Most if not all arranged marches are done with the co-operation of the police and the council and they are not designed to deliberately block routes. However there will be 1000's of people so underground stations will be maxed out.

I'm going to go in incredibly early so I think I should be okay...I'm not taking any chances and I've planned out my journey. Thank you for clarifying the thing about the embassy being open or not @_@ that was a little worrying.

Magpie.
