 How Long does it normally take for them to "touch" your paperwork? I suppose this is going to take a "REALLY" long time. I am looking at other peoples timeline, and for the most part it goes pretty fast, however some are slow....I'm just frustrated is all....

"Touches" are preety much meaningless and by far most people do not get "touches". The likely next thing you will hear is when you get a letter in your mailbox, hopefully an approval. We never got a touch and our online status is "received and pending" My wife has been here for 6 months and has her green card.

Most frustrations are caused by unrealistic expectations. It is unrealistic to expect accurate and up-to-date information from the USCIS website

Our file was never touched until approval, either.

I understand the waiting is tough. You just need to try to find something else to focus on, other than obsessing about touches and this process. It will drive you crazy!

If you're this frustrated this early in the process, it going to be a tough go for you. Head over to the UK forum here on VJ and get to know some people. They'll help you pass the time and gear up for what comes after the I129f petition is approved.

Hang in there. You'll get through this. :)

Uh, according to your timeline, you just sent in your petition 3 weeks ago.

Nothing to frustrated at all. There are people here that have waiting 1 year + :hehe:

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

Just focus on getting additional paperwork together for the future process. It is frustrating but CSC has been moving at lightning speed lately so it may not be too long if you have everything in you package and get no RFE's.

Your in INDY so am I swing in and have a pizza at my pizza place on the westside, you can hang out with all my police customers if your name is reflective of you job hehehe.

Good Luck
