Some people like the call quality, some people dont, and MJ does not produce call logs. Why not use skype for free?

We have been using it for more than a year now here in the US. It had save us so much on phone bills, $20 a year!. Do not use this though if you want it as a proof of communication for US embassy interview. What I have used when I was in the Philippines waiting for my interview was I bought phone credits using my husband's credit card at yahoo voice with my email account and it cost me 1 cents per minute to call his cellphone here in the US. I always buy the $10 plan and I consume it for 3-4 months. I could print out the number I called and the minutes that we have talked. I was using SmartBro internet back then because I was in the middle of a remote barrio and the reception was clear it was so worth it.

I have MJack here in the Philippines (with a local Michigan number which fiance set before he sent it to me) which i use to call my wonderful man's mobile number. I have a laptop and desktop, both with internet connection (through Wi-Fi) and i just plug-in my MJack and i can call him anytime i want, even if i am in Starbucks chillin' LOL. It is very very very clear, my man is at MI and I am here in the Philippines but it's just like a local call. The best part of it is i do not have to spend hundred pesos to call my hubby. We can talk as long as we want any day (the longest time we talked on phone, he's on his mobile & i am on Mjack, is 9 hours..hahaha). I just pay for my monthly internet service, cause you need a good internet connection (it will not work on dial-up.. i use 2Mbps here at home) to use MJack. You can use MJack to call & receive calls from anyone in the US and Canada.

The first time it was out in the market my fiance bought 2 for $59.99 (package deal) and paid the 4 years of service. So, i have MJack for 5 years and no pain in the butt monthly bill! YAY! No need to buy those friggin phone cards that costs a lot. It can work on Microsoft and Mac computers, like i said i use it on my laptop (Mac) and desktop (Microsoft). I am using it for over a year now.

The person in PI should have MJ so that he or she can call US number locally and not be charged with international calls. A friend of mine brought her MJ in the Philippines to call her families in the US and she did not pay for any minutes she used.

Been using magicjack since September and so far it has saved us $$$ with awesome quality and just been very very helpful with long distance stress and the whole visa processing. We average 8000 minutes a month. Fiance is on unlimited call and text plan with AT&T and we showed his phone bills reflecting my magicjack number for the embassy interview.

I say this has been one of the smartest decisions fiance made!

We just bought it last January but we are not using yet coz we have an existing Vonage phone of which we used its number for my job applications and other transactions. We'll definitely used it by May!!!

all of my relative has magicjack . even in the US so that they wont spend any of their minutes if they need to talk to us here in PI, very satisfied.
