Hello Folks,

If my I-765 and I-131 would approve then

1-how long does it take to get approved for I-485.are there still possibilities to be denied or approved for GC after you get approved for I-765 and I-131.

2-what things you can do with I-765 approved like can you make driving license or SIN CARD.

That's highly variable. Anything from a couple of weeks to many months. It depends on factors like how quickly was your EAD (I-765) approved (or to be more precise, how long ago you filed your AOS)? Have you had any RFE's? Has your AOS (I-485) been transferred to California Service Center? How long is the wait time for interviews at your local office, etc, etc. The list of variables is almost endless. The timelines section is quite useful for estimating when your case may be processed.

To answer the second part of your question, yes it absolutely is possible for the AOS case to be denied after approval of an EAD and Advance Parole. The three cases are filed together but are adjudicated separately and each on their own merits. Approval of EAD means nothing to your AOS case.

If you mean SSN (social security number) card then yes to both of them. The precise rules about what documentation is required for a drivers license varies from state to state but an EAD and a SSN is broadly sufficient.
