If you divorce, then the joint filing requirement can be waived and evidence that entered into marriage in good faith will needed.

If you feel that the marriage was only to secure a green-card, then report this to USCIS and then divorce.

I doubt it affects you.. they might ask you questions the next time but I doubt it really affects you in a bad way. As long as you can show them that you entered the marriage in good faith whenever they do, then I doubt there will be a problem :)

As for her just doing it to get the green card, be sure that this is true.. if you tell them that you think she only did it for the green card, then she will most likely be deported, so don't say it out of anger but be sure that this is true.. it would be a sad thing that she gets thrown out of the country while she might have entered the marriage in good faith :)

How would this affect me? If say in the future I would want to try again.

I know not all are bad, should have listened to my lil birdy.

Think this was just to get a green card.

she will be able to file on her own for the removal with a waiver, but be sure you are right about her using you for green card before you do anything else.

If you can let by gones be by gones, might be better for you, what goes around comes around, remember that.

If you iwsh to sponsor another woman here to the usa, and you report your present wife, this might affect your chances of getting her residency,as they might say, " you reported your first wife as fraud, and this new one might also be a fraud case and you might get denied as well. what goes around comes around, think before you act.

As for another issue, you signed the affidavit of support for your present wife, that still stands until she becomes a US citizen, dies or leaves and gives up here residency here, even if divorced, so its better you talk to a lawyer before attempting to getting back at your wife, iA word is enough for the wise, like you say listen to your lil birdy!
