I'm glad to have found this thread.

It looks like a riot! Arrange the containers in any way and create "tree house" style fun living.

Paint them creatively and stand back to see what your neighbours do to theirs, too. Ha!

This is truly win-win as shanty towns are appearing in once wealthy cities, and the containers that are just sitting around could be out to great use.

Better than tents and boxes.

Mailed request to remove conditions – July 7, 2010

Landed permanent resident approved – August 23rd, 2010

Second funny looking card arrives – August 31st, 2010

What I am curious about, is why, if containers are almost indestructible, do they become redundant as well, containers? Does someone over order in the shipping business?

Perhaps with less "shopping" going on, less is being manufactured and less is being shipped.

Hence...

Yes, these days that is true, but the London container project has been going on for some years.

Don't get me wrong, I always thought that was cool, and now these new ones are cool as well, just curious is all :)
