I wanna thank people here in the forum who have been so supportive in sharing info.

My AOS just got approved and the interview was smooth.

Here is my experience:

We got there 15 mins before the interview and waited for 15 mins more before we were called in.

The officer was a very friendly person.

She went through the documents quickly and didn't really look at everything we meant to show her.

We don't have a joint bank account, and she didn't ask for that.

We showed her pictures of our relationship from the last decade up to the present.

She asked for the tax return transcipts...and I639 which were all well prepared.

At this point, it seemed to me she didn't want anymore evidence.

There were a lot of files on her desk...she was busy organising them while interviewing us.

She moved onto the rountine questions re crime, terrorist...spy..etc.

She said she would have to review all doc and if all was okay, my GC would be on the way.

I was worried that we would get a REF later...and actually we have prepared almost everything already.

So I put forth the bills, declarations from friends and emails..etc and asked her to keep them in the files.

She didn't reject that...and that later she approved our case on the spot.

Yeah!!!

I am very happy she has been so kind and helpful.

That took a lot of pressure off.

Congratulations!!! How do you feel now that you dont have to deal with USCIS for at least in 2 yrs?
