yeah i looked for adobe and it's like $700. we already spent a fortune on photoshop. but potoshop i use quite often, and adobe premiere i probably wouldn't

If you're looking at Adobe products, it's far more cost efficient to buy the collections. You'll still pay hundreds of dollars for it, but you'll get multiple programs. That certainly seems like a better deal, at least as far as Adobe is concerned.

I can see if i can upgrade the adobe photoshop cs3 to cs3 extended. i think the extended has video editing

If you or Charles work in any sort of educational capacity (or you are a student of some sort), you purchase from JourneyEd. They have incredible discounts on software, but only if you're teacher/instructor/professor or a student.

For instance, if you were looking to get Adobe Creative Suite 4, retail price is $1,399.00 whereas the JourneyEd price comes to $399.98. If you neither you nor Charles qualify, you could also find a friend who fits their criteria. Just pay them back. :D
