in the affidavit of support..what should be check? intend or do not intend?

i read before that some had a problem during the interview and others were not...

so..what should be check?

thank you

Check this box if you want to play Russian Roulette with your visa process is the way the document should read.

That's our wonderful Government for you, put a trick question on an application that will nullify the entire document if you tic the wrong box. Some CO's will let this slide, but some can be #######! I have read about people who are in a big mess now because of that stupid box, so I checked yes and put "As my wife, she will have free room and board and access to all accounts" Lots of smart @$$ things I wanted to put there, but with my luck, she would get the one ####### CO in the building that day.

I filed a K-1 Visa for my fiancée. When I filled out the I-134 (Affidavit of Support), I answered question #11 by checking the box that says I "INTEND" to make specific contributions to the support of my fiancée.

Below, I added: "I intend to be married forever to [my fiancée's name], and to always support her. I intend to provide her with room and board. I intend to always provide for her financial needs."

Neither the pre-screener nor the Consul Officer ever mentioned anything about question #11. My fiancée received her visa, and we are now together.

Good luck!
