01/15/2009 Sent I-130 package for CR1 to Chicago Lock Box, 01/19/2009 USCIS Chicago received the application

01/26/2009 USCIS sent out NOA1, 01/28/2009 Moneygrams Order cashed

02/24/2009 Case is in Vermont Processing Center (told by the USCIS by calling the free phone line)

03/02/2009 NOA2 mailed, application approved!!!! (47 days since we mailed I-130 package)

03/05/2009 NVC Received Case / Case number assigned

03/12/2009 DS-3032 / AOS fee bill generated and e-mailed to us, 03/12/2009 I e-mailed and snail mailed DS-3032 and paid AOS fee bill online

03/18/2009 NVC received DS-3032 and it was entered into the system (I never received email confirmation)

03/20/2009 IV Bill generated and I paid online

03/30/2009 Sent I-864 package to NVC, 03/31/2009 Sent DS-230 package to NVC

04/01/2009 IV fee shows unpaid, 04/03/2009 documents are under review (confirmed by operator)

I got a letter from NVC yesterday....

The Choice of Agente form, hahahahahhahahahahahha. :lol:

Omg, imagine if I would have waited!!! It got to me 2 days later my case was completed at NVC!

:lol: Thank heavens for LingChe and his (her?) shortcuts. :thumbs: But it's only luck if you get completed in the first half of the month instead of the second half like us. :( Oh well, all will be behind us in a couple of months ...

i just stopped obssessing after i got RFE for j-1. now i'm just waiting for an interview date in june and hoping that my case will be complete in two to three weeks:) again, good luck to you, really happy for you! :thumbs:

I called NVC and talked to an operator. I asked her if there was any update to my case and she said my case was completed on April 13th and interview was scheduled on June 2nd, 8am. AVR still says that 8 week #######!

I called NVC and talked to an operator too today & she was so rude...she was like "we don't schedule interviews until the second week of the month." I told her about you champi & she was so short with me..."you don't have an interview date!" Geez!

I'm waiting for a case complete too. I actually caught a rfe before nvc did, and mailed the corrected info in asap! I still havent heard a responce from that (and pray that I wont). I dont believe in "luck", so I wont wish anyone good luck, but I will pray thats God gives us all favor that our cases will complete soon,just as He's given us the grace to endure this process . This has indeed been a long journey! (L)

I'm Sorry for that Amanda, that's why I don't call and I wait for my husband to do it, that would totally ruin my day. But I think you are getting an interview date soon :)

I am so sorry Amanda. There have been many people who recieved dates today, at least 2 from India and 1 from Pakistan. I hope your consulate allocates slots soon and give interview dates... Be strong, it will come...

:huh: I'm so sad now, I've just learned that I've got a possible rfe for the long form certified copy/original marriage certifercate. I do have both the long and short forms, but I could've sworn that I sent in the long one. Anyway, I called nvc and asked them to recheck the form, my case is now under reveiw. What I'm going to do is express mail both copies (long and short forms) to the nvc tomorrow. How long will this rfe delay my case? I was really anticipating a case complete next week :crying: Edited by IamGodsProperty

ok, finally, i tried to log into NVC fee website and i finally got the "the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time.." hurraaaaaay!
