Hey Guys,

One good news, my case is COMPLETE.... :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

Yey!!!!!!! I was expecting, even hoping, I would hear the same boring message I've been hearing for past 8 days.... I didn't want to hear "missing document" message. When I called this morning, I called and it said, your case was completed on April 13,... To make sure I wasn't dreaming, i verified it again.... And just now, I tried to login to online fees payment website and it says

Sign In Failed

* Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please click on the Contact the NVC hyperlink if you believe that you have received this message in error

I also feel little guilty because it was not fair to get my case completed when other people who sent the papers before me are waiting. I sincerely hope everyone gets their happy day soon.

I can finally start drinking soda!!!! :D :D

I dont know, but I dont get jealous at all, Im happy when one of our fellas here get their case completed, and I know mine is just around the corner!! :D

It is great to read about everyone getting case complete!

I am growing more impatient by the day though........ I just got a wonderful text from my hubby, he has just woken up. I miss him so and can't wait to see him and hold him in my arms...... He also sent me a card which I got today. It always makes me cry. I know it has only been about 10 weeks since I last saw him but it feels like a lifetime.....

I know this journey is a long one, but I really dont think its fair..... Like someone said, once we are through it we forget because we are so happy to be with our loved ones but its still not far. Anyway, in the future, if I know anyone that is about to go through it, I now know how I would advise them to go through with this.

ok, i just found out what was an RFE for and i am so angry right now. i was an exchange student twice in the US on a J-1 visa and i attached the separate list for that along with my ds-230. apparently, they are requesting evidence that i was not subject to 2-year residency rule that usually goes with j-1 visa...i am mailing it to them this very moment...but the thing was self-explanatory as i was granted f-1 visa for my master's twice after j-1 visa period...oh god...

Wow... that is a weird RFE... I never heard of this one. My husband was here on B1 visa for like 6 weeks and in back of my mind, I was bit confused if it was going to harm or help us in this process. We at least know it didn't harm us. oceansea1, even with this RFE, I am sure you'll be with us in the same interview waiting list... so no worries :) I hope things work out for you.. Good luck!!

Our K3 got to NVC on March 6th and was stuck in AP on March 10th. It was just sent to embassy today :star: Which means we were in AP for 34 days total.

This is bitter sweet news to us since we had decided to follow CR1 but today found out our CR1 is also stuck in AP Stupid AP :angry: Anyways, my hubby and I will follow whichever one gets us reunited faster cz we are so freakin' tired of this separation and nerve-wrecking wait!!! So we shall see where that leads us...We are now hoping to secure a May interview for K3 and be able to flip to CR1. I still beleive things happen for a reason. NVC closed the May interviews yesterday so maybe this happened in our favor seeing as how we can still get a May interview and possibly flip our K3 to a CR1 interview ...Still keeping the faith :innocent:

Champi, time to revise that table u posted ;)

I am now hoping our CR1 AP/case completion will be done in time for our K3 interview :star::star::star::star: Pray with me!!

Hey GS4EVER,

Good to hear some updates from you. I'll definitely update the status :)

I know it's hard to wait. My suggestion is still to go with CR1, even if it takes couple weeks longer. With K3, once your hubby gets here, its another set of immigration process to get work permit and stuff. I don't know the details but from what I understand, entering in US with CR1/IR1 is much better than with K3. Why stress yourself and your hubby if it is a month more of wait? Anyways, it is easy for me to speculate and say things. At the end, you're the one doing the waiting right now so I completely understand where you're coming from. Whichever way you go, best wishes are with you :)

I hope your CR1 gets completed just in time to switch K3/CR1 interviews. Good luck!!!

GS: Bittersweet...I seems every time you decide on following one process NVC butt's in and decides to throw us a curve ball.

The good news is your K3 is at the local embassy and if they are not too busy you should get a May interview and since your K3 was under AP you should be approved at the interview with no issues :thumbs:

I hope sometime this week Champi...considering our docs started review on the same day

I called NVC got the 2-4 week BS again today....they have YET to fix the issue with the IV bill.

That is what I am hoping too and I have to agree since our K3 was completed and freed from AP grips with no problems, we already know there won't be any problems with CR1 undergoing the same process. They might even wrap our CR1 AP a lot faster than K3 since they already called and inquired about hubby and me while processing K3 AP.

Seren, I am sure once ur fee bill is fixed, u will have case complete in no time :star:

One good news, my case is COMPLETE.... :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

Yey!!!!!!! I was expecting, even hoping, I would hear the same boring message I've been hearing for past 8 days.... I didn't want to hear "missing document" message. When I called this morning, I called and it said, your case was completed on April 13,... To make sure I wasn't dreaming, i verified it again.... And just now, I tried to login to online fees payment website and it says

Sign In Failed

* Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please click on the Contact the NVC hyperlink if you believe that you have received this message in error

I also feel little guilty because it was not fair to get my case completed when other people who sent the papers before me are waiting. I sincerely hope everyone gets their happy day soon.

I just tried to sign into the NVC payment processing and I got in and both status said paid. I am so depressed, I was hoping to get Sign In Failed so I know I am near case completion. The wait continues.

Hey, I have a question and welcome anyones advice. I had a car accident 2 months ago. It took me about 6 weeks to recover from the injury to my neck which was bad whiplash. All was fine and only last week it started troubling me again. I have gone back to the Doctor and have to continue with physio etc. Do you think this will be an issue for my medical? I can still move quite well except turning my neck really hurts and lifting heaving things...appreciate any advice.

The medical is primarily to rule out contagious diseases, as they don't want anyone coming here and infecting others. So your condition should not pose a problem, just explain what happened. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

O, and hopefully this does not apply to anyone, but if they detect any illegal drugs in your system, you will be banned from applying for US visas from 3-10 years. So quit it now if you fall in this category.

i sent the aos and ds 230 on friday...i have called many times, they still havent recieved it. i did send it expedite, didnt know there was an option to certify it...i hope it all isnt lost, Allah forbid......um soooo scarrrred....ok ill be patient to hear the words at least "recieved"...then ill be patient for the words---case complete....aww this wait is sooo hard, havent seen my hubby for 364 days as of today....and my hubby hasnt seen our baby yet either, she is turning 8 months on the 16th......pray hard with me guys....i appreciate you all updating....

Hey HSB,

You have nothing to worry about, just give it a couple more business days. I was waiting to hear my case to be complete too and calling the NVC everyday at 11:30PM after I got back from class...oh man...I hated it.

Anyway, insha'allah it'll work out. My husbands coming out to the Dhaka consulate too...insha'allah they both have a clean interview...it's insane what people have to go through there.

Again, best of luck.

Oh,ha... one more thing...don't worry about annoying them. Seriously, you get a different person everyday.. I'll be damned if they make a note each time they talked to you.
