We sent in the paperwork and money order on Feb 16th, yesterday March 24 was his biometrics (no interview)...and was told he will have his 10 yr GC in a week or 2.

If they told you at your biometric's appointment you would be getting your GC in a few weeks, that is incorrect. Biometrics has nothing to do with the final approval. All they do is take your photo and fingerprints. If you got notification from VSC or CSC, then great. Please let us know.

I don't think that's correct..You have to wait for the formal notice or email alert that your case is approve and that there's card production on the way. That's the only time they'll issue you the 10yr card..Please update your timeline..Thanks and Goodluck!

It is the exact same thing as when he got his 2 yr GC....at biometrics they sd it will be in the mail soon, and in a week we had his GC.

really, if you are having some issues on you not getting your GC fast, dont rain on anyone elses parade. geez...jealousy is rediculous.

Gabby it was in Jacksonville.

I appreciate all the great vibes of ppl who said congrats, seriously to the rest, if you have nothing to say in a "congrats thread" other than negativity and "oh your a liar" then please play somewhere else :)

Dear Sinergy,

Nobody is jealous from anything in this forum. We are here to help each other and we just comment our experiences.

If they told you at the biometric appointment that you are going to receive your card in 2 weeks is fine, what we know is the biometric appointment is the first thing that they send to you, they don't know if your case is going to get the approval because nobody take a look in your case yet.
