I am a contractor,the US Embassy in Cairo,Egypt asked for 2007 tax income ,my employer sent me 1099 form couple days ago,my tax consultant work on now,,If I send them my saving account statement which is over $60000,will they accept it,it is sufficient to approve my wife's visa?.

I guess I don't really understand what you are asking. Tax Income 2007? And $60K in the bank???? Enough for? Where did 2008 go? You need to show that your current income is 125% of the poverty level for the number of family members involved...Do you have children, does your fiance?

I filled 2005,2006 but they asked for 2007 income tax,which is I am working on right now,my question is if I show them that I have $60000 in us bank will be sufficient to approve my wife's visa while my tax consultant working on 2007 or I have to send them the 2007 income tax?.

They will need your taxes for 2008 too.

How big is your household? If it is just the 2 of you, 60 grand is more than enough.
