You know that wouldn't surprise me seeing Canada always does things backwards and different. Maybe they put the staples in upside down or backwards? Wait scratch the last one, don't think you can put them in backwards. But upside down or something would be different.

I actually thought it was about the Staples chain that started in California. Though they had them in Canada too and thought it was about how they were so different then each other...

Carla, here in the US Tetley's has a version called "British tea" er sumthin like. It is pretty much the same as Canadian Tetley's, and completely un-like the US Tetley's for making iced tea. Check your local grocery stores, it is in a purpleish box.

They must have relaxed the allowable foods again, because I've always been told that meats are not allowed to cross, only pre-packaged foods. I wonder if Mum will bring me some bacon next week...

Wow, Thanks Reba, I didn't know that! I'll check it out and see if I can find that.

Mmm I love Tetley tea! My family goes through boxes and boxes of this stuff!

The "British Blend" Tetley tea isn't the same as the Tetley in Canada, unfortunately. My MIL was so excited to find the Tetley British Blend for me, but the tea is different. In Canada Tetley uses Orange Pekoe tea while in the USA the British Blend is just black tea (Orange Pekoe is a type of black tea so that is kind of confusing).

In the USA I buy just regular "Orange Pekoe Tea" and it is pretty close to the Canadian Tetley!

Just add a lot more sugar to regular tea...... voila....... Southern Sweet Tea

Mel and I had the whole argument about KD vs. Mac N' Cheese. On one of her visits, she brought a couple of boxes of KD and I got a couple of boxes of Mac n' cheese. I can say that our Mac N' Cheese is cheesier and the KD was much creamier. Meh, I love Stouffers macaroni and cheese the best.

BTW, what is Pop? Never heard of that before

Thank you for that! Its been days since i've laughed that hard

I will definitely miss Tim Horton's the most. Its especially terrible because I work there part time while I'm in school... so I get all the free coffee I can drink. I think my blood is made of it... :hehe:
