AOS Filers: April 2009

Congratulations all those who have been approved and received GC's. We went for interview today and was approved!

Are there any other April filers still waiting for interview/approval?

According to the spread sheet, we have two more interviews coming up (ailyn and justratchet), both on September 10th. And some of the ones transferred to CSC are still waiting, but overall April seems to be a very lucky month.

I know I haven't been around for a while, so I just say congratulations to everybody who got approved lately, received their GC and whatnot

Yes still waiting after being transferred on June 10th Got a touch August 17th My hope is that they approved me and that my status didn't move and that I am soon going to receive my green card in the mail haha hope makes the wait easier!

what does "got a touch" mean? means you saw them updated the website?

Well just wanted to thank everyone for this forum. It was a huge resource for me and this thread in particular was great, sorta put everything in context and helped me see the light at the end of the tunnel. Knowing other people were going through this exact same thing was helpful.

I'm with you to. We got transferred on June 10th also and got a touch on 8/17 with no status change. I hoping that this means our cards will be coming REAL soon.

I filed my package on April 30 , i do not have time lines , sorry, but I am one of you guys- April filers.

We just got approved today!!!!!!!!! What a relief.

Here is how it went. We came to Newark office at around 10.25 ( our interview scheduled for 11) with our two kids. ( by the way there were many families with kids ) Had to wait till around 11.50- so that was some wait but I could not even be nervous because really had to concentrate on talking to and entertaining the kids so they would stay seated and not too loud B)

The IO sounded pretty serious and official but the interview went really quick- 5- 10 minutes the most. She asked some routine questins about how we met and how long have we known each other, in our case it has been years. She asked how many times I entered US and when and them some more questions on our applications. nothing unexpected.

She asked if we had any new financial evidences and that was pretty much it. She said we were approved and should get my Gc in mail soon.

I just checked my case status online - it says Card production ordered

I could not be happier , we managed to do it without a lawer, but with a lot of useful information from Visajourney! Thank you so much everybody !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations to all of you who have been approved recently!

FINALLY!!!! We got the email notice saying that our welcoming letter was sent today! Thank God! I was starting to worry cuz everybody seemed to be getting approved but us... but I'm so happy we are approved NOW! I'm also amazed that they approved us with no interview, after they kept sending our case back and forth from C.A.! I'm just soo excited that we are done with this at least for the next 2 years.

I have a question... what is the ADIT processing? I'm sure it is explained on the welcoming letter but I wanted to know what is it about.

I'm soooo happy I can finally get my WI driver's license too

Congratulation on all the new approvals!! AWSOME!

I got my GC in the mail today but...I tought it was green?! LoL!

Anyways I am really happy! i can't believe we are already done with AOS too! Last year at this time we were just starting to put our k1 Visa packet together and now we are done with USCIS for the next 2 years!

I received my 'welcome to the Unites States Of America' letter today in the mail. Hopefully, the GC will arrive soon.

Am I the only one who hasn't got GC yet? i filed on April 17th, case was transfered on May 12, i got biometrics taken on June 13th.

got the AP in june, work permit on August 21st.

anyone else hasn't got GC? lets cheer up each other.

We have already received the Welcome Letter by mail, but today I got another email from CRIS saying they mailed an Approval Notice today. Does the approval notice come with the green card? Or will we receive the green card separately? I have read some timelines that said "Card Production Ordered" is that when you have passed the interview? Or is it after getting the approval notice?

Congrats to everybody getting their GCs. I will be having my interview tomorrow. Im so excited and bit nervous. But, i guess its a normal feeling. Cant wait till tomorrow comes and its over and im approved! Wish me luck everyone! Good luck to all having interviews tomorrow too!
