Congrats everybody for the approval. :dance:

We were approval yesterday too. :innocent:

She made one question: how did we met?

And then she looked some papers and said: your card will arrive in 2 to 4 weeks.

The interview was less than one minute.

no stamp in passaport and i still have my i-94.

I want to say thanks for every single one person in this forum.

This happy journey was easy because of you guys! :star:

I already saw at the gov website:

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On August 20, 2009, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. Hello April VJ's members:

I already received my welcome note from USCIS, and my green card is production now. When I had the interview last Aug. 18, they said I must used my middle name when I was single but, because when I file the I-485 I used my maiden name, which it is natural tradition from philippines. Now, they want me to use the middle name when i was a single. I'm so worried because all my papers now, driver's license, passport is already in my maiden name. They said I will petition to change name if I want to use my maiden name.. Of course I want to use that because they know me in that name.. What kind of form I'm going to use for changing name? I hope you can help me.. Thank you..

Here's the example in middle name problem:

Diana Santos Torres - when I was single

Diana Torres Smith - when I applied all documents

Diana Santos Smith - they put in my green card.

I got my interview yesterday everything went great!! She just checked the information on the application and just wanted to see the supporting documents I took with me. She didn't make any comment about my husband no beeing there, she just asked me for his military orders and that was it! Then she said she was going ahead and approve us in the afternoon!! She told me to keep my EAD untill I get my green card and then to destroyed it and then she explain me about the remove of condition...She was very nice, she really made me feel confortable. I gotta said it was a very good experience! thank you guys for all your support and help!

Congratulations to everyone for approved interviews and received GCs! It seems that almost all april filers received GCs!!!!! Good luck to those who are still waiting.

Got an earlier doctor's appt for the medical and sent it last Saturday.

Got an e-mail from my friend CRIS: Green card production ordered TODAY!!!!!!! :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:

According to the spread sheet, we have two more interviews coming up (ailyn and justratchet), both on September 10th. And some of the ones transferred to CSC are still waiting, but overall April seems to be a very lucky month.

I know I haven't been around for a while, so I just say congratulations to everybody who got approved lately, received their GC and whatnot :dance:

Yes still waiting after being transferred on June 10th :( Got a touch August 17th :) My hope is that they approved me and that my status didn't move and that I am soon going to receive my green card in the mail :) haha :) hope makes the wait easier!
