Just got the CRIS email! Well... Welcome letter to new permanent resident has been sent.. B) They didn't forget us!! We're so happy!! Shannon is crying for the happiness and i'm stunned still

We wish all the very best to everybody who's still waiting for an answer!! We wish to the "forgotten club" to get out as soon as possible!!

But your case was transferred to the CSC wasn't it? So it doesn"t matter because the case is not at the local office. You need to look for people that were transferred around the time you were. Then you can estimate your approval. Check out the spreasdsheet, pretty_angel, tihana and me were all transferred in the same week and also received our approvals and greencards in the same week.

Now we are just waiting for a card. Good we had an interview at the Garden City Office in NYC, so stamp was put right away. Now we have to get rid of that notice from ssn and driver license and USCIS will be gone for some time.

If he/she entered on a K1 there is a restriction on the SSC saying that its valid with USCIS EAD only. I think that's what the "notice" is referring to.

Oh in that case, ours has too..ssn say valid with dhs authorisation only..so we'll need to get A NEW SSN too. DOES ANYONE know IF DRIVERS LICENSE HAS SUCH A RESTRICTION?

If he/she entered on a K1 there is a restriction on the SSC saying that its valid with USCIS EAD only. I think that's what the "notice" is referring to.

Is it necessary to remove that line from the SS card? I just received my card after waiting for it since FEBRUARY! I don't wanna go through that trouble again

Hey everyone! We've been very busy lately and I didn't have a chance to sign in.

Our interview went okay. 130 was approved, but we're having issues with the medical exam. The dr. left 4 boxes blank on the vaccination part and claims the USCIS changed what it wanted. I guess it's possible in 4 months time (I'm doubting it, but can't really do anything about it). The interview officer said our AOS was approved pending we return the medical form within 30 days. The dr.'s office supposed ordered the vaccinations last Wed, but they're still not in. I'm getting really frustrated.

On a happy note, my hubby interviewed for a new job last Friday! So we really want to get his GC before we move.

And since my hubby was on an O1 and already had SSN and driver's license, we were told that even though there is a time limit on SSN they would be aware of his change and we didn't need to do anything. In CA, they only gave his license renewal for a year since it expired last month and the EAD is only good for a year. Hope that helps.
