Count me in with the "forgotten ones". I hope we all get our interview dates already. God Bless everyone!

March '05 - met George online thru common friend

March '06 - He went to visit me in the PI first time

May '06 - He came back for the family reunion and proposed for marriage

Nov. '06 - came back to prepare for our wedding

Dec 16, '06 - Wedding Day!

took at least 6 or 7 months (as i remember) for the K3 and was approved!

Nov '07 - I arrived in the US

together again with my gwapo, lol

April 9 - mailed in AOS package

April 13 - NOA for EAD and AOS

April 22 - Biometrics Appointment and will be on May 7 in Jamaica

May 7 - Biometrics done!

May 14 - Got an RFE dated may 9 - joint sponsor :-(

June 5 - they received our reply to the RFE

June 10 - EAD card production ordered, YAYYYYY Thank u, God!

June 21 - EAD card received in mail.

...and the waiting continues for the interview date...... will update later

so i got my interview date, and guess when??

Sept 10 - yaayyyy and its my hubby's Birthday! Approval would be a GREAT bday gift.

Sept 10 - got APPROVED! Indeed its a GREAT Birthday gift! " Card production Ordered" Yayyy

So, today I went to take my driving test and finally I got my Colorado driver licence...then i checked the mail and I got...MY INTERVIEW DATE...WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I was wonder if everybody else got 2 papers inside the envelope, one for the appointment and the other one stating that if u've ever been convicted or detained u need to bring prove of what happened...

The bad news is that my husband has military orders for some traning and he won't be here for the interview...we will call immigration tommorrow and see what I need to bring to justify his absence!

Great news! Congratulations! IMO, they will probably ask for you to show his orders to prove that he will be away during that day.

First, that second page with the interview notification letter is standard. We had one too.

Next, be prepared for them to reschedule the interview for a later date, when your husband if free to attend. While his orders will serve to excuse you from the apointment date currently scheduled, they may want to see the two of you [together], to both answer questions and establish the bona fides of a relationship, etc.

Maybe not, but just be prepared for this eventuality, based on my understanding of this process.

Anyway, congratulations, with the process moving forward now !!!! :star:

Married in Guangzhou, China 12-2006.

05/03/07: I-130's for CR-1 and CR-2 mailed to CSC via USPS

06/23/07: NOA-1/I-797C's.

11/06/07: NOA-2’s were issued. CR-1/2 Abandoned, for K-3/4.

06/02/08: Interview passed at US Consulate Guangzhou

Yeah, I was thinking about that too...I hope noooooooooooooo!!! I read some other topics where the husbands were deployed and they were able to get the interview approved anyways but we all know that each case is different so I will be ready for everything!! It won't be a problem if they will...but it would still suck lol!
