We received the EAD in the mail on Monday! Today we went down to the DMV and got his driving permit. Yay!

Congrats!!! I assume your interview has been canceled because of the software update they're doing next week. I saw that all biometrics appointments for next week were canceled and rescheduled. Did you get a new interview date yet?

No, we haven't received a new interview date yet. Our original date was for this Thursday, so we are going to show up anyway just in case. Do you know if all the offices are closed because of the software update?

I'd call to see if the office is open at all, and if they are go on Thursday. I hope you get your new interview date soon :)

Well, both wife and daughter's 10 year permanent Green Cards were in the mail box today; they were Postmarked from Lee's Summit, MO on July 1st. :)

They came in very non-descript envelopes. Only about 13 days from Card Production Ordered, until they were mailed (PM).

We have waited a long time for this date and it is such a relief !! ;)

Best wishes to the rest of you as you move along; and soon we can close out this thread with all GREEN !!

05/03/07: I-130's for CR-1 and CR-2 mailed to CSC via USPS
