I got an email last night:

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On July 2, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

Looks like my GC is gonna be here in a day or two :dance:

K1 at VSC 06/13/08 - 12/18/08 - DONE!

AOS at MSC/CSC 04/07/09 - 07/08/09 - DONE!

Do I have to change address after (report to USCIS?)?

Yes, you can do it online on the USCIS website using the AR-11 form. And whoever sponsors you (I assume your spouse) has to do the same when they move, using the I-865.

05/22/09- EAD card production ordered

05/29/09- EAD approval notice sent

06/01/09- EAD arrived in the post

06/18/09- I-485 RFE notice via email

06/25/09- I-485 RFE notice via mail

(They wanted him to redo medical exam- they must've lost it. They also wanted a copy of our marriage certificate, even though we included that in our original submission.)

07/03/09- Medical exam (second one this year grrr!)

07/06/09- I-485 RFE response mailed back to CSC via USPS

07/08/09- I-485 RFE response package delivered at CSC

07/10/09- I-485 Case Processing Resumed (CRIS email)

07/16/09- I-485 Card Production Ordered

07/21/09- I-485 Approval Notice Sent

07/24/09- Green card received in the post!

A friend of mine had to redo the medical and just had the AOS approved. Took 2 1/2 weeks from the day the RFE arrived at CSC. Good luck :thumbs:

We're still waiting on any "touch"... haven't gotten touched since May 8th :unsure:

At least have the AP and EAD (so he's working now.. whew!)

We received the EAD in the mail on Monday! Today we went down to the DMV and got his driving permit. Yay!

Congrats!!! I assume your interview has been canceled because of the software update they're doing next week. I saw that all biometrics appointments for next week were canceled and rescheduled. Did you get a new interview date yet?

No, we haven't received a new interview date yet. Our original date was for this Thursday, so we are going to show up anyway just in case. Do you know if all the offices are closed because of the software update?
