So maybe mien was already ordered then?! Because by that time I didn't check my status daily...

Might be possible. I mean I didn't get the "welcolme letter mailed"-email update, but I had the letter in the mail yesterday. And I don't see a reason why they would hold back your card production when you're approved.

I got my Welcome Letter in the mail today. I received email from Cris a card production first then a welcome letter.

If you have approved AOS and Welcome Letter was mailed, then the GC production is a given.

The only variable is the timing, as to if you had an interview or not; at interview time, the ISO will punch in the order for the GC, while you are still at her desk, upon conclusion of the interview. Then you will recieve the email or letter in a couple of days stating that GC is in production. If no interview, then it is processed from the Service Center, rather than the order generated by your local USCIS office.

I-130 for CR-1/CR-2 Timeline:

Married in Guangzhou, China 12-2006.

05/03/07: I-130's for CR-1 and CR-2 mailed to CSC via USPS

06/23/07: NOA-1/I-797C's.

11/06/07: NOA-2’s were issued. CR-1/2 Abandoned, for K-3/4.

I-129F for K-3/K-4 Timeline:

06/11/07: I-129F for K-3/K-4 mailed to Chicago.

06/13/07: Received at Chicago.

06/15/07: Received NOA-1 Form I-797C, from Chicago.

11/06/07: NOA-2 approval issued for the I-129F.

12/06/07: I-129F for K-3/4 has been received at the NVC.

06/02/08: Interview passed at US Consulate Guangzhou

Try not to worry too much, if there was something wrong with your case they would notify you with a RFE or something. Also, you haven't been transferred to CSC and you're a K3, so most likely you will have an interview at your local office. Depending on where that is and how busy they are, they issue the interview dates. There is no specific timeframe as when you have to receive the interview invitation. You'll just get it in the mail one day. But looking at the spreadsheet shows me that people around you just recently got their interview dates, so I wouldn't worry too much, you'll get it soon. At least you're with your spouse now and don't have to wait for a visa anymore. Enjoy your time and relax, everything is gonna be ok :star:

Yes this is true.

I have other K-3 friends, one who filed AOS before me, and they still have not heard anything yet.

Just be prepared for the interview.

My wife filed a month before you, and we haven't seen anything in regard to the I-485 since the NOA1. Can't even see the case online.

Guess my card had alr4eady been ordered as it was mailed today!! :)

So you received it or did your online status change? I was thinking about you, when I saw that Ailene & Larry just changed the spreadsheet, they received the card today and they got their approval just a day before you.

Don't worry toomuch! i filed 2 weeks before u and we didn't hear anything yet neither...I know its hard to stay calm but just think it will be over soon! =)
