Congrats My Lao Pao!!!!

Did you take any bills with joint names? We're having trouble. Apparently the water and electric company here can only print one name on the bill. Sigh.

First, I had submitted (fully front-loaded) all of that info with my filing for I-485 packages. I did bring all of that in an expandable folder with me to the interview, however, the IO did not ask for any of the supporting docs.

My local power utility (Pacific Gas & Electric) does allow joint names on the bill, as did AT&T for our home phone.

No, I did not. All of that was supplied way back during the visa application filing (I-130/I-129F) and was reviewed at interview time.

For AOS, emails and/or phone records are moot, because you are supposedly living together every day, here in the US.

They want other proof of relationship, e.g., joint lease agreements; utility bills...electric, gas, phone etc; medical bills; joint insurance; photos with family here in the US; if a child is in the picture, then school enrollment papers, and/or grade slips, etc, etc,

I-130 for CR-1/CR-2 Timeline:

Married in Guangzhou, China 12-2006.

05/03/07: I-130's for CR-1 and CR-2 mailed to CSC via USPS

06/23/07: NOA-1/I-797C's.

11/06/07: NOA-2’s were issued. CR-1/2 Abandoned, for K-3/4.

Then touched today.

Is that mean my card is on the way?

I can only guess since I don't have my card yet, but this is how it was with the EAD. When your status says "Approval notice sent", the card (attached to the approval letter) is on it's way. So I hope your GC gets to you soon :thumbs:

April filers, and all the vj's thanks everybody for all the info.i check my case status last night and im so suprise and i cant believe it coz it says current status card production ordered i got approved June 17..and i check it today current status Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident im very happy :dance:everyone here in vj thanks a lot..those who got approved Congrats!! and those who are still waiting WISH YOU LUCK and be patience..see u all in removing conditions..

We live a few hours away from our cosponsor and couldn't get her 2008 tax returns in time so it's very likely that's what they want (even though we filed before tax season). Due to all the confusion about transcribing medical results, and our inability to find anyone near us who would do it for a reasonable fee, we decided to just submit the vaccination sheet from his medical in London since others have been approved with just the DS3025.

So, they probably want a tax return and/or a medical. At least someone is looking at it! The EAD is in hand and that's what matters most to us.

02/11/09 Interview (Approved!)
