At least you've seen evidence that they're doing something with all your applications.

Tania received her EAD and AP in a timely manner, but the GC is another story. Since the NOA1, we've seen absolutely nothing on the I-485......not even viewable online

All of our forms do show up online. 485 shows the case resumed processing on May 21, after receiving our response to the RFE. There's been no updates on that at all. I haven't even received any emails. So we were really surprised to get a letter in the mail.

EAD and AP were last touched May 11, one day after our RFE was mailed, and it's just the generic response: on April 13th we received your application, it's at our service center and will be processed in the order it's received. It's just been 3 weeks since they received the RFE. I think we're going to wait another week before calling.

Thanks everyone for the congrats! Our appointment is at 8 am. I think we're the first ones that day!

So yesterday I went back to the SSN office here in Colorado Springs cuz I apply on March 16th and I didn't see anything yet. The lady asked me for documents and birth date...and she said that I don't have one yet...but then she decided to check with her supervisor and it comes out that they have my birthday swiched instead of october 11th they have November 10th and she says that immigration have it switched over as well...mmm...anyways she gives me a SSN and said that she is gonna order the card again and in 10 days I should know something...I was wonder if u guys can check your AP and tell me how your date of birth format is? Is it mm/dd/yyyy or dd/mm/yyyy...right now that is the only document from USCIS that I have and that indicate my B-day and I don'tknow if I should call USCIS and ask them to fix it or if I should wait 10 days as the lady told me and see if they fix it.

The birth date should be in month/day/year. That's what my AP says. Is it wrong on your AP? Or did they just get it wrong at the Social Security Office. You might as well call USCIS and see if you can resolve it with them.

I hope you get some good news soon too!

G & R, I would call too and see if it can be fixed. Frustrating since we were all so careful filling forms, making sure we had everything correct. I know everyone makes mistakes, but you would think they would double check stuff a little bit better.

Sorry about the spreadsheet. Congrats on your interview date!!!! We did end up calling yesterday about not getting a date yet and they said our local office is backed up and only working on AOS that were sent in from Aug what does that mean, that we have to wait and wait before an interview its a bummer we wanted to be done with this ASAP not four years still dealing with USCIS. The customer service rep tried to explain how families are still not together I told her do not tread on that water you will get more then you bargained for with me in this conversation . We were to have my MIL apply for visitor visa during this summer, but I guess without DH having his GC we will just have to wait. I am afraid that since he is the one who is supporting us I can not offer a letter of support for her and neither can he since he does not have a GC yet, is anyone familiar with tourist visa's and writing the letter of support for family to visit?

thanks Chibby! i just checked my AP and it sais the same as yours and it is the right date. What i think is the SSn messed it up and they are trying to find an excuse for it.

Lol, I didn't want to be intimidating or something. I was just frustrated this morning, because we all put time and work in it. Updating is really easy, go to the spreadsheet, click on the "Edit this page" link in the lower left corner, then a new tab/window opens and you can edit the sheet. Just put your data in and it saves automatically, you can just close it after you made your changes. It updates within a couple of minutes.

Congrats You have to take both copies, one is kept when you travel with it for the first time.
