I saw online that my status changed from pending to card production ordered yesterday. But I didn't receive any CRIS email even though I have signed up for it.

It is great to know that soon I'll be not sitting around the house anymore. I have another week until I start working. Now I can really relax and enjoy my time off.

Finally,today I can see my AP online too..its says:

Application Type: I131, APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On May 28, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

Lots of good news in here- congrats everyone!

When I checked the EAD on the 22nd it said "Card production ordered" but then on the 27th I got the official email that said "Card production ordered" and now the date has changed to the 27th and there's no mention of the 22nd on the website? I'm not sure if we'll be getting two letters now or what? Very confusing.

Timeline:

K-1

07/30/08- I-129F was delivered to Vermont

08/11/08- NOA1

12/14/08- NOA2

02/11/09 Interview (Approved!)

03/07/09 POE at JFK

03/13/09 Married!

AOS

04/08/09- NOA1 for AOS and EAD (we didn't apply for AP)

04/22/09- Case Transferred to CSC

04/24/09- Biometrics Appointment

05/22/09- EAD card production ordered

05/29/09- EAD approval notice sent

06/01/09- EAD arrived in the post

06/18/09- I-485 RFE notice via email

06/25/09- I-485 RFE notice via mail

(They wanted him to redo medical exam- they must've lost it. They also wanted a copy of our marriage certificate, even though we included that in our original submission.)

07/03/09- Medical exam (second one this year grrr!)

07/06/09- I-485 RFE response mailed back to CSC via USPS

07/08/09- I-485 RFE response package delivered at CSC

07/10/09- I-485 Case Processing Resumed (CRIS email)

07/16/09- I-485 Card Production Ordered

07/21/09- I-485 Approval Notice Sent

You'll only get one card. My theory is that the first date is the actual card production ordering and the 2nd date is when the physical card is received by the service center so it can be sent to the applicant. I mean they probably don't make those cards in their basement, do they? :unsure:

We're in the same boat. EAD and AP received, but the I-485 still doesn't even show up online. And we've been waiting longer than you guys. I'm not too worried. I think it just goes to show the inconsistency of how the applications are handled. Sometimes, the cases never shows up online, even after approval and receipt of the document.

Think i'm going to end up with an interview!! No movement on EAD or AP yet and haven't been lucky enough to get a transfer!! grrrr
