I don't have my EAD yet but I am looking for jobs. I think you can never start too early. I mention my AOS process and haven't eally had any negative responses to that.

thank you for answers... till now i was applying online for some jobs (retail) since i got stamp at poe and i didnt get any replay.

I dont have any experiance in usa, but I do have experiance from home and I have letters of recommendation from last work at home and i really hope that I will find something and that i will GET SOON my EAD.

I came here at beggining of february and I really want to work, any work as long is legal :)

Tihana, if you are looking for work in retail try and go to a mall close by and go look if they have signs outside that they are hiring or even go inside and ask. If they hire, they will give you an application to fill out. That is the best way to do as most jobs are not even to be found online. My husband got his part-time job like that within 2 weeks when we needed it!!

I also have an interview scheduled for a job next week. I am very excited and just hope it will work out as this would definitely be my dream job!! :)

Really? I lost a $80,000 job this morning because of that...I had been honest about it and the e-verified my employement eligibility, in the meantime the HR person that dealt with my case had changed and basically told me to piss off and that she would proceed with the next US citizen...

This is what I was affraid of, that my SSN will show that I cant work right now. First I was looking for job in mall cause I thought that it would be easy to find job there, its not really my dream job. I was never working in retail, I was working in bank home, but I thouht that would be good start for some USA experiance.

So I was decided to start to look when I get EAD, not before.

I hope that next week it will be more good news for april filers :dance:

i filed my paperwork in April also, my case is pending, im hoping to get news of my I765 soon, keeping my fingers crossed! Ive already done my fingerprints, had to re-submit my I864 because my husbands' income wasn't enough (his parents are now my joint sponsors), and thats where i am in the process!
