And you might not be aware that most Chinese believe in a 30-day confinement period after giving birth, which means I am not advised to go out of the house if there is not necessary...

I've been offline for a while and still not worked out how to fill in the spreadsheet but we got our notice April 22nd and still no biometrics... Anyone else still waiting? Or am I the only one?

You are not alone. I, too got all the NOAs on April 22, and am still waiting for the biometric notice.

But I've already gotten the transfer notice by mail, dated May 11.

I would call and see if something happened to your biometrics appointment. Maybe it was lost in the mail or came back to them.

Hello everyone! I took my biometrics today, everything was very fast and lady was very nice!! I left home at 7am, took me 1 and 1/2 hour to drive there and at 10am I was already back in town shopping at Walmart!

Congrats! The biometrics appointment letter arrived in the mail about 20 minutes ago. My appointment is on 27th May.

Congrats... I received my biometrics appointment letter today also and our appointment is scheduled for May 30th. I figured it would be scheduled while we're out of town, so I'm going to see if we can go earlier. Not sure why theyare sending us all the way to Baltimore though.

Question: Has anyone done their biometics at an ASC different from what's on your biometcs letter. There's one closer to me and I'm wondering if I can go to that one instead. I may have to just call the number on the letter, but just thought I'd ask. The center on the form is almost an hr away and there's one 20 mins away from where we live.

Goodluck with the delivery and congrats on your baby. I know you can call and change your appointment if you can't make it.

I'm not looking at the letter, but I recall there being something about missing the appointment and failing to go or contact them within a certain amount of time was considered abandonment of the process. It was quite awhile if I recall. I'm sure if you call and explain you situation they would make an appointment that will work after you are able to leave the house.

when applying for ap....what evidence has to go in?

I think you can apply for an emergency AP at your local USCIS office, if you need one. But I can't tell you what they consider an emergency, it depends on them and your situation.

so in your app for ap did you put any evidence? i think im just going to put:copies of my approval notices and pending i485, no evidence

So, i got an RFE, it says in the letter we need to prove some assets or property Or get a joint sponsor.

Question: I live in NY, now, can i have either my cousins as joint sponsor even if they're from chicago and san francisco? Or should i get somebody related to us thats locally (in NY) .

And what's the difference when they say "co-sponsor" and "joint sponsor"?

btw, we dont have any assets to prove so my best bet is to get a joint sponsor.

How many of you had biometics done on a different day from your appt. I'm trying to see if it's worth me driving to Baltimore tomorrow to try it. Our appt is scheduled for the 30th and we'll be in Florida. I really don;t want to reschedule it because then I have to wait again. Ugh!

we went about two weeks before ours was scheduled....walked in and it took about 15 minutes...our case was transferred to CSC a week later...

just have your appointment letter and your ID. easy as pie
