tihana_12 & panterchen: I had another Touch on my I-485, too. :help:

Let's hope it means good news. But whatever it is, I would not care about this if my EAD was touched already...

I can't believe this, it has happened so fast !! Notice of Interview arrived for wife and daughter !!

I only check my PO Box a couple of times a week, and when I looked today, I found two I-797C's (NOA's) for Applicant to Appear for Interview, sitting in the box. They had been sitting there for three or four days.

I have not had any other info since the biometrics appointment three weeks ago, and no touches, or even have been able to open my I-485 application on my portfolio online.

It was just not even six weeks ago that the NOA, receipt for my two AOS files, were mailed from the Chicago lock box facility, until the date on these to interview notices have appeared. It is scheduled for the middle of June, about a month from now.

And not a word about the EAD, as I guess they think that is a moot point, if the GC's will be produced/issued right after the interview?

We have already been married over two years, and I fully front-loaded our two AOS application files including color photos of us together here in the US.

Again, things have always gone smoothly, but the speed of the action and no other notices or indicators, have surprised me from what I was expecting. :)

Wow, congratulations to everyone whose cases are moving along so fast! I can't believe it.

We received an RFE at the end of April, promptly responded to it, and haven't heard a word from them since. The last touch we have is from April 14, which was way before our RFE, so its pretty clear they aren't updating the system for everyone.

My husband called USCIS yesterday and requested that they expedite the EAD. We got an email today saying the request for expedite was denied. While they admitted our case was "serious" it did not rise to the level of "emergency" according to them.

So more waiting and hoping and stressing.....

Again, congrats to everyone whose cases are moving along swiftly!

Krissy, congratulations on your EAD!

I think I'm the only one who can't see her case online yet :( I try every day but still does not work!

I could only see mine after the biometrics were done...may just be coincidence??

I hope I can see mine after my biometrics next week.

I can't believe this, it has happened so fast !! Notice of Interview arrived for wife and daughter !!

BTW, Thanks for all who welcome me in this thread.

I think the worse part is not knowing what the RFE is about.

Keep everyone posted once you find out.

Keeping u posted - after oour biometrics on 29 April 09:

Just happened to check the online status of our case. IT ACTUALLY SAYS EAD CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED on 13 May 2009. Last Touched - same date.:thumbs:

Awesome! Keep them coming!

Does anybody know how long the card production takes, I mean how long it actually takes until you got the card in the mailbox?

PS: I shortened "card production" to "c.p." on the spreadsheet. Just fyi.

I'm sorry about your expedite denial.

What was your RFE about? If you don't mind me asking.

The RFE was requesting proof that the co-sponsor (my mother) on the affidavit of support was legally able to work in the US. All we had to do was send back a copy of my mother's passport.

I know how exciting it i when you got mail from them. Congratulations!
