Oh yeah! How was your wedding guys? Where and when did you get married? Was it a big party or a small private ceremony?

We got married March 7, 2009 in Tulsa. It was a big party and tons of fun. We had alcohol for free for everybody so everyone was on the dancefloor grooving until midnight when we had to leave the mansion that we booked that day.

Unfortunately, Dan and me ended up a little too drunk. We shared that place right next to the toilet that night and one of his friends who was too drunk to drive home anymore shared our hotel room with us that night....hahaha....So far our story, which is a little different from what one could expect from a wedding night I guess. Here are some pictures too.

Your wedding was gorgeous panterchen!

We had a nonlegal elopement ceremony/honeymoon in Barcelona with just us and did the legal stuff a week later at a judge's office with 10 family members. We're throwing two big receptions in the next year or so- one in America and one in England. Here are some pics from our Barcelona elopement!

Hey,

I'll be filing my package this month.

I'm not sure exactly when cause I'm having problems with evidence.

I'm under his health insurance, we have a joint bank account and a few other memberships at places however

the landlord will not add or change his contract until it's up in september nor write a letter stating I'm there (because she says she doesn't "really" know that I am) Our cable company won't add me because I don't have a ssn. We also don't have any creditcards because we've been living debt free now so I'm not sure what else to do!

Our lawyer who we met once, but I ended up calling him last week told us to take pictures of our apartment showing that we clearly live together but I don't think that's enough information.

Sigh this process is difficult!

People who entered on a K-1 do NOT have to submit any evidence until the time of the interview. I believe it differs if you entered on a different visa.

You guys have great pictures too, TerriandSeb!!! Congrats!!

Kiwie, nice to see you here again as well!! I am so glad both of us made our weddings on time. What a hussle!!!

No evidence of relationship required for AOS after K1. That will only be the case for the interview.

By the way, guys: How is your adjusting to the American culture going? I have to admit that I have some trouble even though I have been here before. I mean, it is normal I guess after moving to a new country, a new apartment where there is not much of 'my' things in here. I get frustrated since I seem to drop a brick constantly somehow whether it is driving in the wrong direction since I can't deal with this block system yet or not being able to open a can properly in 5 seconds as this is different too. And I am still a little afraid to go out there and search for a job in a few weeks...baaahhh...sometimes this just seems overwhelming.

Thanks for the comments on the pictures! Our photographer was David McNeil- he's based in London. We wanted to have engagement photos taken in England since that's where we met and we loved his work so much that we decided to use him as our wedding photographer!

Sebastian is adjusting alright to American culture, although he's not used to the lack of public transport. I'm a full time student, so the poor guy just sits around all morning until I get home :(. Summer and the EAD will be here soon, though, with any luck!

I'm very curious as to how can opening is different. Do tell :).
