We got a transfer notice dated April 28th today in our mailbox. SO no interview, I guess??

Will it have any effect on the EAD and AP?

Did you check your AOS/EAD/AP on the USCIS case status online website? Does it show you have been transferred?

my I-485 application was rejected...the i-797 gave the reason as:

"Invalid Part 2 Application Type Other Basis of Eligibility"

in my form I-485 in part 2, i checked 'h' and wrote "Married to US Citizen. I-130 Filed Concurrently"....

Is it rejected because:

1) I was suppose to check 'a'.

or

2) When I said I-130 filed concurrently, I was suppose to attach a copy of I-130 application.

or is it anything else?

No, my online case status just says case received and pending for everything...

Cool, thank you. I was checking my case status online obsessively for the last days, hoping it would say 'transferred', but now I can go back to checking the mail obsessively daily. :whistle::wacko:

I believe you shouldve checked a and attached copy of the i130

You should check a.

We did not attach a copy of the 130, but we did mail everything together.

Does anyone know why some people get transferred to CSC and some don't?

It would be great to get transferred and get the EAD faster. We could really use it (we are expecting a baby in June)!

Well just an update - we went and did the biometrics on Thursday (4/30/09) and all went well. We were in and out of there in like 15 minutes I think.

It seems to be random who is transferred and who not. I recognized it's a lot of K1's, but maybe I'm mistaken.

Even IF they reject it, they just send it back to you and you can correct it and send it back to them. That will give you only a weeks delay. Don't worry so much (F)

Just wanted to let you guys know that Marco got a letter from USCIS today with his date for the biometrics interview! He goes 05/16/09!!!! He goes exactly one year from his entry into the USA. We are very excited!!!
