just got our biometrics appointment for May 12th!

Congratulations on the biometrics. I am done with my biometrics a few minutes ago. Appointment is 9AM . I show my appointment letter then he give me a form to fill-up then give it back to him after filling it out. He gave me a number and wait to be called (#6). A lady called my number, get my finger scanned and took my picture and done at 9:19AM. Will see what's next...... :star:

Congratulations on the biometrics :star: Is the appointment letter the only thing you have to take for the biometrics? Or do you have to take passport/ marriage certificate or other evidence/identification with you? That's pretty good that it only took 19 minutes! :thumbs:

For your biometrics appointment you need:

1) Appointment letter

2) ID (Passport, DL or birth certificate)

3) Marriage Certificate (if you want your GC in your new married name; no need to make a copy they just want to see it)

Don't be too worried, I sent my package on the 7th, it was received on the 9th and I didn't get the NOA's in the mail before the 17th.

Yeah we got our NOA in the mail yesterday!! My husband already has his EAD, so its just the 485 we sent in. I am wondering if we will be quick to also do biometrics or not. According to the NOA it said it was the next step, so we will wait and see. We were excited since it always takes them forever to send us anything back :blush:
