PrettyAngel, it's true, you can go and get your biometrics done early. As long as you have the original appointment letter, you can go and try it. But I haven't read about anybody having problems doing that yet.

PrettyAngel, it's true, you can go and get your biometrics done early. As long as you have the original appointment letter, you can go and try it. But I haven't read about anybody having problems doing that yet.

I know how you feel. Our appt. is tomorrow so we aren't going early. My husband is currently on an O1 visa so he has to take off work for all of these appointments. It's not as easy for us to go whenever we want, but we could have went last week. Oh well!

Yeah, you can go and try to get your biometrics done early. I don't know if it changes anything at all during the process and the waiting but I only live 10 minutes from the office where they do it, so I thought I might just give it a try. Plus my biometrics date seemed kind of far away. I don't know why it was that late as the office wasn't busy at all when I was there. :no:

My husband and all of his family is in Southport. It's beautiful there and going through this process sometimes makes me wonder why I didn't move there instead. Oh well.

I would absolutely go for the biometrics early. Especially if the wait time is 3 weeks or more.

Panterchen it will be interesting to see if or when you receive any info on your case, if it's before you bio appt. was.

TchauEUA - we've been married almost 9 months, and filed a couple of weeks ago. No problems so far, but we're anticipating a possible RFE.

we might do that, do we just show up at the place with appt letter and id? My wife's just worried they'll turn her away lol
