DS-130 Help

Hi! I have just received my case number and now I have to complete my Ds-130 online. I started to complete it but I am unsure as to how to go about putting my pic on the application? Just wondering how everyone else did it. Do you need to get a professional photo done and then upload it or can I do it myself with my digital camera?

Yes I just received my K3 packet and the first thing I need to do is the DS-130 (non-immigrant visa application) it needs to be done online and I am not sure how to exactly go about putting my pic with my application.

Can you double-check the title of that form? I have never heard of a DS-130 before. An I-130 yes, and a DS-230 yes, but never a DS-130. I suspect you mean a DS-230, but if you can clarify we can help you better.

Sorry yes the DS-230...not quite sure why I wrote the 130. I would like to get the photos done tomorrow and this application done and sent in...just not sure how to get the photo of myself on there with the app.

Or DS-160, I had to do that one online. And you can continue it online and send it without having to upload a picture. I emailed the consulate and they told me to just bring the confirmation that you print off when your done sending it along with a picture. Not sure of the DS-130, possibly DS-230, but is that form done on line? Maybe someone else could jump in here and help.

Upload a photo, it will take a minute or so, and it will tell you if its acceptable or not. Mine wasn't because of the resolution, but I continued without one. Then it will prompt you when your finished to print off a confirmation page to bring with you to the consulate.
