Stupid snow. We went to memphis and the town freaked out on Friday cuz it got 5 inches of snow. However, by the time we arrived (Saturday around 1PM) it was all off the roads. I wonder if it was on the roads to begin with. Anyways, it seemed like we were being followed by the snow, as it kept on coming down yesterday on the way home (to St. Louis). Makes it fun driving on I-55!

they do not know how to drive in snow in the south at all...

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

ROFLMAO

Since I have no real idea what that is, I've decided that it must be something as equally pleasant as another "job" with which it rhymes, and ponder if Hubby will mind.

I'm just really surprised you didn't threaten me with cows. :P

*cackle*

I just got home to upstate NY after setting off from Manchester UK yesterday at 9 am UK time. I thought they'd cancel the flight due to the weather reports- I've lived in the northeast my entire life (minus the time I was in the UK) and when they predict a Nor'easter, you know what to expect! We got nearly to Newark when they diverted us to GANDER, NEWFOUNDLAND. I had never heard of it, but wasn't suprised when it turned out to be a very small airport in what seemed like the middle of nowhere. Eventually 7 other planes joined us at Gander. We had to get back onto the plane as the terminal was too small to accomodate all the people. I arrived in Newark at approximately 11 pm (after sitting on the runway for AGES due to ice- they were unable to get us to the gate)- collected my luggage off of two different belts (people were REALLY losing it at baggage collection). My husband very thoughtfully booked me a hotel room *just in case* when he heard of the diverting to Gander, so I was one of the lucky ones with somewhere to go. Ended up in the hotel sometime after midnight, a mere 20 hours after I set out. Got up this morning to a gorgeous and sunny day and finally arrived home an hour or so ago. Whew!

See my timeline for all previous dates!

Naturalization:

6/28/09: Mail N-400 to Texas

7/6/09: NOA1

7/24/09: Biometrics

10/08/09: Interview

11/21/09: Receive oath date

01/22/10: Oath Date

With thanks to all the helpful people who made this journey slightly more bearable.
