Interviewing for K-1 in London

Well, to our dismay, turns out if my fiance withdraws his application and continues to stay in the UK (which is inevitable because of his K-1 with the US Embassy in London), it will be considered a CRIMINAL OFFENSE in the UK. Emailing the UK Border Agency or the US Embassy in London failed to give us this information. I found this out by reading the fine-print of the Immigration Rules and Regulations in the UK. And not only will this be a CRIMINAL OFFENSE in the UK, but he will likely face problems with US immigration as well, so thanks to everyone here on VJ who gave their advice, we have found this information to be indeed, correct. So we wait until a few days before the interview for his passport, and if he does not get his passport by then, we will have to reschedule the K-1 interview again.

Wish us good luck everyone....

and thanks once again,

MARM

In case anyone is following this thread or for future reference for anyone in similar situations:

My fiance's UK student visa extension application was approved after 4 months and 23 days since filing(1 month and 24 days after the biometrics). He WILL have his passport in time for the interview...Thank You God! And thanks for everyone's help and support in this matter! :star: :star: :star:
